I think this is the first Hacksmith video i've watched for the creator instead of the creation. I enjoyed the personal touch, your family, the history and to then get Zyla and Colin with some fun and adventure, was an all round awesome journey that i felt apart of. Thanks for sharing!

Colin Furze is the UK equivalent of Hacksmith, so seeing two of my favorite engineering channels come together is absolutely incredible

I'm a proud Canadian, living in Holland, and you are living proof that school, learning, and education is important. Your channel is a great inspiration for the youth and I hope that you can go to schools, give talks, and raise awareness that education matters. It's the only way to accomplish a dream.

I'm really glad you're back and doing better. Would love to see more vlog vids, especially those where you travel and meet other engineers or companies/institutions to show off what they've been working on. Maybe eventually bring all of them together to somewhere near H.E.R.C. and setup your own version of the stark expo.

I’ve gotten so uses to project videos I forgot how much I loved the vlog style videos. I definitely would watch anyone’s that come out in the future.

Hey James, I just wanted to say you're a massive inspiration for my pursuits in the field of engineering, and I too have been struggling with mental health. Knowing I'm not alone in this engineering field, with similar mental health issues has been comforting, and has helped me a lot to manage and come to terms with them. It's nice seeing you visit the UK, and seeing/hearing familiar places; I didn't realise you had family over here, but I've always enjoyed knowing I share a last name with someone as accomplished as you. You're certainly leaving a positive impression for the Hobson name, and through yours and many others inspiration, I hope to make a positive impression too.
